Batman: Killing Time #1 cover

The list of new Batman titles – the most prolific sub-line of comic books at DC or any other publishers – continues to grow, offering new comic books, digital-first releases, original graphic novels, and collected editions, every week.
In the main DC Universe/Earth-Prime Bat-titles, the ‘Fear State’ event just ended and in its wake changes are coming to Gotham – Batman (Bruce Wayne) is leaving the city for an international adventure in the main Batman book; Batman (Jace Fox) is leaving Gotham for New York City in I Am Batman; and the remaining Bat-Family are stepping up to be Gotham City’s main protectors in Detective Comics, Nightwing, Robin, Robins, Batgirls, Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and more.
And in addition to the main Batman and Detective Comics ongoing titles, there’s always several Batman limited series underway at any given time, and currently that includes Robin & Batman, Batman: The Detective, and Batman ’89 – a continuation of the 1989 Batman film by director Tim Burton starring Michael Keaton.
On the Bat-radar (but without a firm release date) are also Sean Gordon Murphy’s Batman: Beyond the White Knight, Marc Silvestri’s Batman/Joker: Deadly Duo, and another chapter in Frank Miller’s Dark Knight Returns saga.
And that’s not to mention the numerous Batman collections coming out at almost a weekly clip, gathering recent story arcs all in one volume and, in some cases, bringing back new editions of storylines that haven’t been available for years in print.
