Halloween is in full swing, and we’ve got the GTA Online patch notes to prove it.
Los Santos is celebrating the spooky season as usual, and this year you can earn bonus rewards for taking part in the festivities. Right at the top, now that we’re just a few days from the big day, the entire Halloween Bunker Series – which includes three grim maps that take place in the Bunker, Missile Base, and The Diamond Casino & Resort – is paying out triple the usual GTA$ and RP.
You’ve probably noticed a GTA Online Phantom Car, GTA Online UFOs, and superhuman killers in the form of GTA Online Slashers roaming around the city as of late. These are sticking around for Halloween Freemode, Rockstar says, and you can also play returning seasonal modes like Slasher, Come Out To Play, and Condemned, all dishing out double rewards.
If you really want to have a wild Halloween in GTA Online, you’ll be psyched to know that psychedelic Peyote Plans have returned to Los Santos. Eating one of these bad boys will make you hallucinate into some sort of animal and run around wreaking havoc on the town. And if that doesn’t sound like a good Halloween, what does?
Alternatively, if you’d rather just cruise around town and take in the sights, you can head to the Lucky Wheel, where the top prize is the Albany Lurcher wrapped in The Ripper livery. Or, if you place in first or second place in the Street Race Series for four consecutive days, you’ll get the Obey Tailgater S as reward.
